    Engagement letter takes precedence

MJ Consulting Engineers delivers structural and event engineering services under a written engagement letter for each project. The engagement letter — together with our standard terms of business issued with it — sets out scope, fees, deliverables, liability, professional indemnity, intellectual property, and dispute resolution for that engagement. Where anything on this website differs from your engagement letter, the engagement letter governs.

  2. 02

    Use of this website

This website is provided for general information about the practice. Content, project descriptions, and editorial commentary are not engineering advice and should not be relied on for design decisions on a specific project. For project-specific advice, get in touch and we will be engaged formally.

  3. 03

    Intellectual property

Text, project photography, drawings, and other content on this website are the property of MJ Consulting Engineers Ltd or licensed for our use. You may share short quotes with attribution and a link back. Bulk copying, republication, scraping, or use of the content to train machine-learning systems is not permitted without written consent.

  4. 04

    Limitation of liability

While we maintain this website carefully, we do not warrant that it is free from error or interruption. Our liability for any matter arising from the use of this website is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Project liability is set out in each engagement letter, not here.

  5. 05

    Governing law

These terms, and the use of this website, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

  6. 06

    Requesting our standard engagement terms

If you are scoping an engagement and want to see our standard terms of business in advance, email [email protected] and we will send the current version.
